Kids Martial Arts

Kids Martial Arts teaches basic kickboxing, grappling and self-defense. The goal is to develop techniques that children can immediately use to protect themselves.

A typical class consists of warm-ups, techniques, drills, mitt work, heavy bags and sparring.

We disguise repetition to keep kids from getting bored, give positive feedback when they do well and play a game at the end of class when they try their best.

We also teach conflict resolution, dealing with bullies and anti-abduction. We require kids to behave honorably and do well in school.

Safety is our primary concern. Protective gear is required for sparring. Sparring is limited for beginners and only light contact is permitted. We take care of our training partners.

We have a fully matted floor; the mats are cleaned daily.
